Moisture Barrier Bags safeguard electronic components and devices from both moisture and static damage during storage and transportation. They are ideal for securely packing Surface-Mounted Devices (SMDs) and Jedec Trays. These bags are vacuum-sealable, light-tight, opaque, and puncture-resistant, ensuring durability. These bags are designed to ensure the safe packing of SMDs by offering protection against both moisture and static damage.	For optimal performance, it is recommended to use the bags in conjunction with a Humidity Indicator Card and desiccant. The Humidity Indicator Card provides insight into the package’s effectiveness, while desiccant pouches absorb any remaining moisture within the bag, ensuring full protection. In addition to moisture protection, these bags are opaque and light-tight, preventing visibility from the outside and adding an extra layer of operational security. They are highly suitable for packing electronic products sensitive to both moisture and static, ensuring safe and reliable storage and transport. With a standard thickness of 4 mil, they are supplied in packs of 100 pieces. Standard sizes are readily available, and custom sizes or thicknesses can be requested to meet specific needs.
To protect sensitive devices, dry components are placed inside the Moisture Barrier Bag, and the moisture-laden air is evacuated. The bags are perfect for storing static-sensitive devices and components in humid environments, and they are fully Jedec compliant, allowing for the safe transportation of Jedec Trays. Each bag contains a layer of aluminum, which effectively blocks moisture.
